Dear friends and churches,
We will be coming to the States in April.  We will leave the 10th and drive so we will be in traveling distance to most of you by the 18th.  We are coming for the graduation of our son, Billy, and our daughter, Stephanie Anne, from Belhaven University the 13th of May.  We plan to stay till the next to the last week in June.  If you would like for us to come visit your church during the time that we are there please let us know at [email protected]  It will be a short time put we would love to see you and thank your personally for your faithfulness.
Your obedient servant in Christ,
Jennie Salinas

March 8, 2017 -
Dear Friends and Family,

I wanted to give you a quick update on CFC. This past Sunday night we had our first informational meeting at our home. Nine people, excluding our family, came to find out what we are doing. It was very exciting!

Also, a generous businessman in our area is allowing us to use his conference room to begin our Bible studies on Sunday nights at 6:30 PM. If you know of anyone in the area that may be interested, the location is: 215 Ronnie Court, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

Finally, our website is up and running and up to date. You may find out all about us here: https://carolinaforestpres.org, we also began a Facebook page. I know many of you are already following it, but if you haven't, be sure to give us a like and follow!

Keep these items in prayer, as well as the evangelistic efforts God may show me as well.

Blessings,

--

March 6 2017 - Daylight is FINALLY picking up quickly. This is one of the most difficult parts of the year here in the interior. The hope of spring is rising with the increased sunlight but we're still getting temperatures well below zero. It's a little depressing looking at all the snow (added about 8in over the weekend) and realizing other people are seeing flowers blossoming in their yards. But we know that as spring arrives we will be reminded once again why we enjoy living here. The beauty, the warm but not oppressive summer, and God's call to serve Him.

Want some easy ways to help SEND? Use smile.amazon.com when ordering online and pick SEND North as the charity. Also, for those in the northwest, add SEND North to your Fred Meyer/Kroger rewards.

Here's the latest in our world:
Mark finished out February with an annual inspection on SEND's Cessna 182. Another SEND plane is now due for inspection that needs to be done this month.
We have a team from SC staying at the guest house this weekend as they work with the Iditarod. Two of the men have volunteered to stick around a couple days to help with the guest house addition!
There are two trips in the planning stage for village projects. One is a trip to Ruby to help another missionary family make improvements to their newly purchased  home. The second is to finish the boiler work on SEND's house in Galena.

We are raising funds to purchase the Cessna 206 that Mark has been flying for the past year. There is a matching grant involved! There are a number of informational links and attachments below.

There is an option to start a campaign. You can set this up for your church/group and it will track how much is raised from efforts.

Thank you for your continued encouragement and support!
